Trayer Drywell Fuse Holders This newly patented drywell fuse holder is engineered to provide reliable, maintenance-free, air-insulated, current-limiting protection for underground electrical distribution systems. The hermetically sealed, #304 stainless steel, air-insulated fuse holder more than doubles the load-protecting capacity of conventional drywell fuse holders. It can be completely submerged while maintaining reliable current-limiting protection. The Trayer Drywell (TD) Fuse Holder is rated up to 100-amps with a single-barrel current-limiting fuse for 15 kV and 25 kV systems. It is also rated for 200-amps at 15 kV with a non-current-limiting vacuum fuse. (Contact factory for 35 kV applications.) Fuse replacement is quick, easy and trouble-free. TD Fuse Holders are available in submersible, padmounted or padmersible designs. Padmounted units are tested to an ambient temperature of 55o Celsius without de-rating the fuse. TD units are available as fuse-only or in combination with other switch configurations.
