CHOICE Vacuum Switchgear Our CHOICE product line is the lowest profile, double-side access switch and fuse assembly available anywhere. With the “padmersible” design, the quarter- inch #304 stainless steel tank can be lowered below grade so that only the operating bushings and controls are above water level. This means the total assembly above grade can be only a fraction of the total tank height of a conventional padmount. Conventional padmount or padmersible installation is your choice. This design features the air-insulated Trayer Drywell Fuse Holders bolted to the outside of an SF6 or liquid-insulated vacuum switch tank. The SF6-insulated switch tank can be converted to liquid insulation throughout the life of the equipment, your choice. The switch assembly is SCADA ready. We design our SCADA-controlled motor operators to be installed in the field quickly and easily.
