Automated Switch Controller All of our switchgear (submersible, vault and padmount) can be equipped with motor operators for remote and local switch operation. The switch controller features dedicated open and close pushbuttons and indicating lights for each motor operator, allowing intuitive local control of the switchgear. The controller’s “universal RTU” permits remote operation by any communications medium. The RTU supports all industry standard SCADA protocols and includes a math-function block for local calculations such as kVAR, Watts and Power Factor. The switch controller includes a separate, automatic battery-life tester.
