800/805 Series Padmount Switches Our 800 Series single-side access and 805 Series double-side access, total dead front, padmounted, vacuum load break switches are designed to be low profile and maintenance-free. They are maintenance-free by design and function. Trayer padmount switch tanks and enclosures are constructed from #304 stainless steel and cosmetically painted on the exterior. All load break interruption is contained within the vacuum bottle so the insulation is never contaminated during operation. We design our switchgear to meet the varying needs of today’s residential, commercial, industrial and electrical utility applications. Custom designs built to your specifications allow flexibility in the positioning of bushings, parking stands and switch handles. We offer you a choice of either swinging doors or clamshell hoods.
