These assemblies consist of a switch tank containing one or more vacuum switches in a choice of either liquid or SF6 insulation, in combination with air insulated Trayer Drywell Fuse Assemblies.

SF6 insulated switches can be converted to liquid insulation by reclaiming the SF6 gas from the tank, replacing it with your choice of liquid insulation and installing a Trayer liquid level gauge.

All Trayer units can be converted to SCADA operation by the addition of a mounting stand designed to accept the necessary MotoPak operators.

The hermetically sealed #304 series stainless steel Trayer Drywell Fuseholders provide reliable, current limiting protection, for personnel and distribution systems. These assemblies are designed for zero maintenance in the most hostile environments including submersion. They are rated up to 100 Amps continuous current with a singlebarrel current-limiting fuse for 15 kV and 25 kV systems and 200 Amps continuous at 15 kV with a non-current-limiting vacuum fuse.
