This design features the new air-insulated Trayer Drywell Fuse Holders bolted to the outside of an SF6 or liquid-insulated vacuum switch tank. The SF6 insulated switch tank can be converted to liquid insulation throughout the life of the equipment, your choice. The switch assembly is SCADA ready. We design our SCADA controlled motor operators to be installed in the field quickly and easily.
Trayer Drywell (TD) Fuse Holders
This newly patented drywell fuse holder is engineered to provide reliable, maintenance-free, air-insulated current-limiting protection for Underground Electrical Distribution Systems. The hermetically sealed, #304 stainless steel, air-insulated, fuse holder more than doubles the load-protecting capacity of conventional drywell fuse holders. It can be completely submerged while maintaining reliable current-limiting protection. The Trayer Drywell Fuse Holder is rated up to 100 Amps with a single-barrel current-limiting fuse for 15 kV and 25kV systems. It is also rated for 200 Amps at 15kV with a non-current-limiting vacuum fuse. (Contact us for 35kV applications.) Fuse replacement is quick, easy and trouble-free.
